Adulting 101.

The struggles of being an adult.

I'm 23 years old. That's an official adult age right? Well, I wouldnt know cuz I'm not really an expert at what it means to be an adult.
When I was a kid, I pictured an adult, as this totally put together, amazing confident person. In reality, "being an adult is mostly googling things about how to be an adult".

Being an Adult: Expectation Vs. Reality

If you're like me, struggling to be an adult, when not knowing what being an adult entitles, don't worry, so are most people. But, I've got you. Here are some apps to help you adult like a boss.

1. Mint:
This is a personal finance assistant app. To manage and keep track of your payments, your expenditures etc. It's really useful, it makes you manage your money better and it helps you become more responsible, finance-wise.

2. LifeSum:
This app is useful to help you keep track of your fitness, your workout, food and calorie intake. Having a healthy lifestyle is super important but also super hard, when you are an adult. You have a lot of things to do, but don't forget, your health should always be priority.

3. HeadSpace:
This is one of my personal favourite applications to use. It is a personal meditation assistant. You have no idea how much 15 minutes of meditation every morning and evening can help. It's a rough world and amidst all the work, the responsibilities, take time off and focus on disconnecting. It'll help you in the long run. I know this sounds like an 'old person' advice, and I didn't truly believe in the power of meditation until I tried it. So go ahead, and see how much of a change it makes in your life.

4.Water Time Pro:
Drinking water seems like a mundane thing, but do you know most of us don't drink nearly as much water as we should be? And being dehydrated, even a little, brings down your productivity levels, it affects your mood. So I've been using this app for quite a while now, and it truly helps. It takes in your height, weight, age, and calculates how much water you need per day, and it reminds you at regular intervals. In just a week, you'll find a difference in how better it feels to stay hydrated!

5. Evernote:
Being organised is hard, as much as we'd love to be organised, it isn't easy! So i use Evernote, it's efficient, it's cute and you can personalise it to stay organised. Things to do, planning your day, whatever it is, Evernote is an app that I swear by and use every single day. To plan my studies, my classes, my blogging schedule, my grocery lists, everything!!
